PSAI · Light zone only
Cavern Diver.
The natural light zone — and how to behave in it. The prerequisite for every cave course that follows.
What this
course is.
Cavern is not cave — and that distinction is exactly what this course teaches. You stay within sight of natural daylight, on the line, with strict gas turns and a discipline that is honest about the overhead above you. By the end you can dive a cavern environment safely, and you understand exactly which line in the sand separates cavern from cave.
Who this
course is for.
- Divers with good buoyancy wanting a first controlled exposure to the overhead.
- Anyone planning to progress to Intro to Cave at Cueva del Agua.
- Recreational tech divers wanting cavern as a stand-alone discipline.
